WebFolk are growing up...
Over the past 9 months, WebFolk have developed a fully collaborative approach to our projects, working in partnership with a range of other small businesses and freelance individuals.
The result of this is that our work will now continue under the banner of Seed IT. This site will be closed down during the coming year.
Our latest work:
- BMV Cosmetic Car Repairs
- WebFolk built this first website for BMV, who hope to use it to augment other advertising methods. The objective was to create a fast-loading, slick-looking website with room for future development.
- James Raynard
- James Raynard is a young English folk singer, guitarist and fiddle player, based in Yorkshire. Freshly signed to One Little Indian's "Unearthed" label, with a busy gig diary, James needed a website with some basic content management tools that enable him to add to and edit his website, and manage an e-mailing list.
- R.C. Diocese of Plymouth
- WebFolk completely redeveloped this Catholic church website to make it easier for a large team of volunteers to manage. The site was built around the Drupal Content Management System.
- Dance Around the World
- The main objective for this London-based cultural festival website was to create a small online presence for the festival and disseminate event timetables and publicity material. The styling includes innovative "fixed" navigation that overcomes Internet Explorer limitations.
- Hayward Accounting Services
- An accounting business in Gloucestershire, WebFolk designed their first website, and have now completed a redesign 3 years later. We've also designed their logo and business stationary.
- Linux Open Source Sound Project
- The LOSS website is set to become the number one upload/download site for music produced with free, open-source software. Run by Access Space, the objective here was to create an music file-sharing system and forum that is easy to use and manage. WebFolk customised the Olate Content Management System to power the LOSS site, providing enhanced accessibility and styling.
- Artists Access to Art Colleges
- AA2A is a national project developing research partnerships between artists and education institutions. WebFolk provided accessibility consultancy for their recent redesign and created their accessible layout templates.
- Jean Gibbens, Music Teacher
- Jean is a professional piano and flute teacher based in Gloucestershire. Webfolk built this small website for her - designed to be visually arresting and easy to use.
- Phoenix Music Club
- This website was intended to be a major part of Phoenix's marketing strategy. As a result, strong search-engine optimisation was included which (along with a certain degree of luck!) gained very good search ratings within days of being published.
